san diego sunrise
I took this photo on Tuesday morning right before I walked into work at 7 am. What looks like the usual morning cloud cover over the city is actually smoke.
Turning a little to my right, just to emphasize how smoke is coming from the fires in the southeast is covering Coronado.
By the time I went home that afternoon at 3pm the smoke was so thick it was hard to make out the city.
Luckily, yesterday and today some change in the weather (including some rain/heavy mist) seems to be turning things around. It’s been an interesting week. To say the least.

Where was this picture taken? I really want to get a photo of the beautiful downtown San Diego but I can’t find a good place to take a shot of it. Please let me know soon I am going there this weekend
